Creative Process:

Bi Hamagan is a piece inspired by Rumi’s timeless poem verses that beautifully express the boundless need for the beloved and the magnificence of their presence.

The deep black fabric symbolizes an infinite night, a quiet stillness, and a vast, open void. Within this darkness, the calligraphy of “Bi hamagan be sar shavad, bi to be sar nemishavad” glows like a gentle light, breathing meaning, warmth, and presence into absence.

The intertwined strokes of Persian calligraphy narrate an unbreakable bond, a connection woven as if into the very fibers of the cloth.

This piece aims to reflect the depth of human connection—the bond that transforms silence into melody, loneliness into love, and absence into existence.
